Gabriel's Inn is happy to accommodate your next special event. From rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions to business lunches and evening cocktail parties, the professional staff will serve you well. Wedding ceremonies may also be conducted in the gardens of the Inn. The gazebo and trellis on the front lawn of the restaurant grounds make the ideal romantic setting. We also provide full-service event planning which will help add the perfect finishing touches to your affair.

Our large dining room can seat up to 100 guests and our entire facility can seat up to 175 guests.  All of our private functions are specifically tailored to meet your needs.  We individualize all of our private functions so you are not limited by preset banquet menus.  Talk to our Chef to plan the perfect menu for your special event.  We work with most budgets and are happy to prepare any cuisine.

History Of Gabriel's Inn

This remarkable building, Gabriel’s Inn, was constructed in 1862 and was occupied by six Welsh families who worked in the quarries that settled in the village in 1831. In 1896, Dr. George H. Riggs founded a sanitarium here "for the care and treatment of Nervous and Mental Disease of women." In 1968, Guy Gabriel bought the property and turned it into Gabriel’s French Provincial Inn. He raised his family here as well as many of the produces and meats used the restaurant. In December of 1998, the DeLawder family purchased the property, and in keeping with Mr. Gabriel’s tradition, are raising their family here and have returned Gabriel’s Inn to the fine dining establishment for which it had become known.
