hello, my family has been enjoying the use of the dog park in urbana since the spring. we went over the weekend and was shocked to hear that the county commissioners are trying to close it down. i was told by someone that they think they are trying to close it b/c it is free and the dog park that is planned for baker park will cost $ to use. does anyone have any additional info on this? i can't imagine why they would close it, especially if this is the reason.

I'd be upset if they shut it down.  I recently moved to the area from Frederick city and it's one of the few things to do around here with your pet.
