I honestly thought I could set up my new receiver with all of the rest of my home entertainment components.  The one option I wanted to use was HDMI.  So, I connected all components to the receiver then connected the receiver to the HDTV using an HDMI cable.  Nothing happened.  It drives me nuts. 

Rather than pay Best Buy to come to my house for $200 bucks to tell me I'm ignorant, I'd rather hear it for free. 

Any ideas from anyone or suggestions on who to call when I finally give up on it?
